Hi my friend, how are you? I hope you are doing and keeping well. I remember you told me that i can change outdoor glasses’s mirror with yellow color, then it can be more protective toward sun? I feel that my eyes are being sensitive toward sun shadows when i drive a car in the morning times. If i change the mirror with yellow format, it can better for me? Should i try?
OUR RESPONSE:
Well yes and no
So each color of lens works best at a certain situation
Polarized gray is best for water sports and general outdoor setting. Water reflects so much light that it acts like a mirror. Polarized lens would cut that glare from light reflection. So for driving and water sports and general outdoor use I would stick with polarized. The only problem with polarized lens is that it’s made of many different layers. If you use it heavily for watersports, the lens might have water go into the layers and delaminate the layers eventually.
Yellow lens is good for needing high contrast color. So lots of shooters and hunters use yellow or Orange lens. It is also very good for computer use because yellow can reduce the blue light from the computer or tv. And yellow is good for nighttime because it tricks your computer to think that it makes things brighter (though it doesn’t). It also reduces the oncoming blinding traffic light from other cars.
Now you mentioned you’re sensitive to sun shadows during early morning
Is it because the polarized lens is too dark so you couldn’t see the shadow? If it is then I’d recommend take off the glasses or yes use yellow for better contrast.

Glaucoma eye drops and dry eye make my eyes very prone to excessive watering in cold weather. With the ten-day trial I was able to try three pairs in a snowstorm with strong cold winds. These glasses are great and protected my eyes from the cold wind and cut way back on the tears. Actually, was able to enjoy a walk in a snowstorm with these glasses.
Customer service was very helpful and efficient. I think my Churada will be great for outside activities with my dry eye. I wanted to add RX to them but the optician explained distortion would occur at the high sphere number I required.
AWESOME! I keep the house dark, due to the migraine trigger of light, but others don't. Now I have a pair of sunglasses that can handle the higher light situations such as a friend's home, or a concert.
